Transforming lives through art and training

At MITZ, we are excited to share that more than 160 people in Chimalhuacán and the community of Los Remedios in Villa Victoria are immersed in a unique training process. Our talented Master Artisans lead this project, providing technical skills and knowledge in HPV (Life Skills).

This program extends across 7 communities, covering various groups such as prisoners, members of the LGTBI+ community, and rural communities. The diversity in our classrooms is a reflection of our strong belief in inclusion and empowerment for all.

With the aim of forming a solid community of MITZ artisans, we hope that participants will complete their training at the end of February. This will mark the beginning of a new stage, where they will be able to apply their newly acquired skills to generate fair, sustainable and gender-sensitive income.

We are proud to highlight the enthusiasm, commitment and exceptional collaboration that we have witnessed among the participants of each group. As one of our teachers shares with us: "It is a pleasure to teach talented people." We are building together a future full of opportunities and personal fulfillment.

Join our transformation community at MITZ!
